Schedule Fingerprinting Appointment

 

CCW and Employment Fingerprinting are now accepting walk-ins on Tuesday - Saturday 9am-11am, although appointments are recommended.
 
at Sheriff's Office Post 2, 13349 Kinsman Road, Burton.

To better serve you, the Fingerprint Office has temporally moved to 13349 Kinsman Road, Burton Ohio 44021.

Hours are subject to change.  You may contact the CCW office during CCW hours at (440) 279-2009 extension 4346.  Note:  Phone may not be answered due to service being rendered to an in-office customer.

Costs for electronic prints:  BCI $30.00, FBI $30.00, BCI/FBI $60.00. If you require a FBI FD-258 fingerprint card, cost is   $15.00.  Please bring all required paperwork and photo ID at time of fingerprints.

Payments must be prior to the capturing of the fingerprints.  The exact amount is required in the form of cash, personal check, or money order.  Checks must be made out to Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.

You will need to know what type of background your employer or organization requires:  BC&I and/or FBI along with the proper codes.

Juveniles requesting an electronic WebCheck are required to bring a parent or guardian at the time of the background check.

If the WebCheck cost is to be billed to your employer or organization, a letter from the employer or organization is needed indicating the desire to have the cost billed.  Without the letter, it is your responsibility to make the appropriate payment.
