Electronic fingerprinting is available by appointment only, the Fingerprint Office has moved to 13349 Kinsman Road, Burton Ohio 44021.

Costs for electronic prints: BCI $30.00, FBI $30.00, BCI/FBI $60.00. If you require a FBI FD-258 fingerprint card, cost is $15.00. Please bring all required paperwork and photo ID at time of fingerprints.
Payments must be prior to the capturing of the fingerprints. The exact amount is required in the form of cash, personal check, or money order. Checks must be made out to Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.
You will need to know what type of background your employer or organization requires: BC&I and/or FBI along with the proper codes.
Juveniles requesting an electronic WebCheck are required to bring a parent or guardian at the time of the background check.
If the WebCheck cost is to be billed to your employer or organization, a letter from the employer or organization is needed indicating the desire to have the cost billed. Without the letter, it is your responsibility to make the appropriate payment.
Please have the courtesy to arrive on time. If you cannot make your appointment, you may reschedule on-line at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
